Rapaj Innovative Steel Products LLP aims at producing novel high strength high quality steel and steel products utilizing recycled waste metals and scrap steels at low cost. Ultra-high-strength (upto 2100 MPa) and high-ductility (upto 100%) steels and steel products having excellent mechanical properties and excellent yield strength will be manufactured with this startup using innovative production processes and techniques. The two patents filed (patent application nos. 201931033453 and 201931034787) by the Director of this startup supports this claim. The steel products will be developed to facilitate industries demanding high strength steels with lightweight such as National Defence applications, automotive industries, railways, shipbuilding industries etc. This novel steel has unique combination of ultra-high strength with high ductility and will provide excellent energy absorption capacity suitable for crash resistant automobile body parts and other structural applications which demands strength. Through the effective utilization of waste metals, low-cost production technologies and innovative processes, the entire production of these steel products becomes cheap. Moreover, utilization of scrap steels and metals also reduces the unnecessary metallurgy of ground minerals. This startup will also help in creating job opportunities for local residents and hence reduce the migration of labor from the region. The region, once covered by dense forest, was exploited for meeting the fuel fodder and mining requirements. This sustainable steel production startup will help to resolve these issues in the area by maximizing utilization of recycled products and also help in reducing the metal wastes in the nearby areas.
