RealX is a technology platform that allows people to buy fractional ownership in properties. The property title is held-in-trust by a trustee/custodian and the co-ownership of the property held in standard units (called FRAX at measuring One square inch each) is registered on a digital blockchain network. The co-ownership represent an equitable undivided interest of each respective co-owner proportionate to the number of FRAX held by him/her. These FRAXs are transferable financial instruments and RealX also has a marketplace where buyers & sellers of such FRAX can transact and the processing is handled by the platform.
