Rem Organics was built with the ideology of filling the gap between marginal farmers of India and the buyers across the world who seek high quality products grown as per sustainable agricultural practices. Agri Product and Farmers involvement: - We plan on working with farmers on Contract farming models for products such as Banana, Rose and Foxnut. We plan on providing our expertise to the farmers with respect to Agri-inputs for improving productivity and provide market linkage opportunity especially in the export segment. For instance, through this model we will source Foxnut a highly nutritious, edible seed from the hinterland regions of Bihar where farmers hold century old expertise in its growing and harvesting process. We will set up a Food processing unit for these products, with farmers as direct beneficiary. We plan on using innovative agriculture techniques to maximum output of roses for production of high value essential oils such as rose oil. Live Counters run by women from Rural Areas: - Live counters and kiosks of Makhana/Foxnut at malls and food courts. A low GI superfood, organically grown, perfect for a vegan diet, can also be had during fasting. The live counters will have on the spot roasting and flavoring options along with probiotic coated foxnuts (USP). Best model for self-reliance, as the counters/kiosks will be run by women from rural areas looking for job opportunities OR will be given to the as mini-entrepreneurial model. Promoting GI tag of Mithila Makhana Machineries industry will also be promoted. Future plan: - Will be launch the same brand and roasted flavours in packaged pouches/jars aiming at the export market as well. We focus on fulfilling the motive of “AatmaNirbhar Bharat” by joining hands with marginal farmers in form of contract farming. Thereby, helping our nation reach its full potential towards self-reliance. On the other hand, we are employing rural women on our live counters and getting them self-sufficient.
