The millions of tons of plastic swirling around the world’s oceans have garnered a lot of media attention recently. But plastic pollution arguably poses a bigger threat to the plants and animals – including humans – who are based on land. Plastics are used because these are easy and cheap to make and they can last a long time. Unfortunately, these very useful qualities make plastic a huge pollution problem. Environmental Sustainability is the talk of the hour. Planet earth is threatened by the uncontrolled use and wastage of plastic. Nonscientific treatment and disposal of plastic has created great problems. To reduce the threats posed by plastic to environment, we need to reduce the manufacturing of virgin plastics. But what can we do to the plastics that are already in market? That is where we want to make a statement. We at RePlastiko Pvt. Ltd. take back the most easily available plastics Poly Propylene (PP) and High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) and recycle them through our Patented technology (on going) at our state-of-theart Recycling facility to produce useful products that can be used at home or office. RePlastiko aims at reducing the carbon footprint and resource conservation by producing products using waste plastics. RePlastiko is working towards producing unique products which will benefits thecommunity. Strength of the company is in its strong technical background of the founders. From Polymer Science to Environmental Engineering, company’s three founders set the goal to make plastic recycling mainstream manufacturing industry.
