ReTerra Green Solutions is an innovation-led sustainability venture addressing the emerging challenge of solar panel end-of-life waste management through technology-enabled recycling and critical material recovery. The venture is focused on developing a scalable, research-backed circular-economy model for the solar industry, responding to gaps created by unorganised and environmentally unsafe recycling practices. The core solution integrates structured aggregation, logistics coordination, and advanced material recovery processes, aimed at maximising extraction of critical and precious materials such as silicon and silver from solar panels. To strengthen technological depth, the venture is actively engaged in research and development collaboration with IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, focusing on process optimisation, efficiency enhancement, and validation of recovery technologies. The model is designed to be scalable across regions, promotes resource efficiency, reduces environmental impact, and contributes to import substitution of critical materials. By combining innovation, research, and sustainability, the venture seeks to create long-term economic, environmental, and social value while supporting India’s clean-energy transition.
