REWAT has taken up the challenge to look at one of the major issues in India which is that of non-revenue water (approx. 40-45%) & to increase consciousness and awareness of water consumption by re-looking into the aspect of ‘metering’, which is at the heart of water management. Rewat has developed a universal smart rugged Add-on® to mechanical water meters, which is affordable, easy to adapt and scalable. The Solution consists of a hardware device which captures, stores and sends meter reading data directly to a centralized billing system (Rewat web-application/existing billing system). the system tracks & analyzes the consumption data and sends alerts in near real time. It also empowers consumers and administrators through Artificial Intelligence powered data analytics to take proactive measures against potential threats, leakages, etc., thus making the system reliable, efficient and future proof.
