Riddlock is an online private networking platform. It is in direct contrast and competition to social media sites such as Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, WhatsApp and similar others. Riddlock’s goal is to move users away from social networking on these sites to private networking in Riddlock. Private networking will provide users similar networking features, but free from online trolling, data misuse and identity abuse. This is because Riddlock allows users to create their personal private networks where every user can decide if they want to connect at all, what data they want to connect, with whom and how. Users can connect one or more of their data items with the same or different users at a given time, in which connected users will not know who else has access to that data, and only the data owner can add new users. This will also prevent a data item from going ‘viral’ like it so easily happens in the social media. Riddlock has implemented this private networking concept using multi-level encryption where every user’s data is encrypted uniquely in such a way that even Riddlock’s backend team cannot read it.
