Hobby in a Box is a start-up and e-commerce store, where one can buy DIY boxes, (Do-It-Yourself) and Supplies for Indian Arts and Crafts. We put learning different kinds of crafts at the fingertips. We obsess on getting all the required materials in right quantities, and at reasonable price so that one can cherish art without breaking the bank. We also conduct offline DIT workshops (DO – IT – TOGETHER MODEL) where communities/people/corporates join over a weekend to learn from master craftsman (paid events). All materials, machinery, refreshments are provided and people take home what they make. Hobby in a Box has been operating Pan - India for over 2 years and has conducted 500+ workshops covering up-cycling, recycling and traditional arts of India in 7 cities and 5 states of India. We also provide guidance for women to turn hobby into a money-making business (teach them marketing, operations, logistics, branding, soft skill training, etc.) and also provide support to make them financially independent At Hobby in a box, we believe that with the correct materials and proper guidance, anyone can learn Traditional Indian Arts and Crafts. We follows three golden rules in the business: 1. Environment preservation by promoting hobbies that teach recycling and upcycling 2. Women empowerment by employing all women staff - from marketing to packaging 3.
