In many Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities in India, particularly in Jharkhand and neighbouring states, commerce and finance students often struggle to find jobs that match their aspirations. Despite their academic achievements, a gap remains between what they learn in college and what employers expect in the workplace. Our startup is here to bridge that gap. Problem Statement Graduates from Tier 2 and Tier 3 colleges often find themselves at a disadvantage in the job market. While they possess theoretical knowledge, they lack practical skills and industry exposure, making it challenging to secure meaningful employment. This mismatch between education and job requirements hinders their professional growth and contributes to higher rates of underemployment. Objective Our mission is to ensure that students from these regions are not just employable but highly sought after. We want to provide them with the practical skills, industry knowledge, and confidence they need to excel in their careers. Starting in Jharkhand, we aim to transform the job landscape for commerce and finance students. Key Components 1. Skill Development Programs: - Hands-on training with essential financial tools like Excel, Bloomberg, and MATLAB. - Workshops that teach the application of financial theories to real-world situations. 2. Industry Exposure: - Internships and live projects with local businesses to give students practical experience. - Guest lectures and seminars featuring industry experts who share real-life insights and best practices. 3. Certification Courses: - Offering short-term certification programs in association with key industry players like Wipro (Certificate accreditation partner) and top tier colleges like IIM, Ranchi (currently under negotiation for becoming knowledge partner for our courses) - Offering certification programs in key financial areas, such as FRM and CFA, to boost students' qualifications. 4. Soft Skills Training: - Training sessions on communication, teamwork, and problem-solving to help students navigate professional environments effectively. 5. Career Support: - Assistance with resume building, interview preparation, and job placements to ensure students are ready to step into the job market. Target Audience Our primary focus is on commerce and finance students from Tier 2 and Tier 3 colleges in Jharkhand. As we grow, we plan to expand our reach to other states, helping more students achieve their career goals. Impact We believe that by equipping students with the right skills and opportunities, we can: - Increase their chances of finding meaningful employment. 1.
