Moonshine Meadery is Asia’s first craft meadery; we make meads, an alcoholic drink made from honey. Made by fermenting honey, meads are the oldest known fermented beverage and are squarely placed between a beer and a wine. If it doesn't ring a bell, think Vikings, Valhalla, Madhira and Som-rus! Conceptualised in 2016, Moonshine Meadery was established with the single objective of introducing an easy drinking beverage using the finest ingredients and latest brewing technology. We have 2 styles of meads in the market Apple Cyder Mead - A semi-dry mead with apples on the nose and palate. While the taste profile is similar to that of a classic cider, the honey adds a layer of complexity that the cider lacks. (made using Coffee Mead - A signature classic from Moonshine Meadery, the Coffee Mead is made by cold steeping artisanally roasted beans from Karnataka into their traditional wildflower honey mead, this mead is a harmonious blend of coffee and honey with coffee distinctly on the nose.
