SamBik will be biodegradable and can be composted after usage. -The advanced technology used will also reduce the demand for land use. -The product is made up of tea tree wastes which are often thrown away by the natives or farmers causing foul smells and disease in and around. -Most of today’s biodegradable plastics are made from food crops, but we here are using tea leaf wastes that won’t affect the basic meal chain. -The product is totally free of plastic. -These will be of low maintenance and corrosion resistance, unlike the metal ones. -The processing time is also minimal compared to most of those which are already present in market. -The product produced will be comparatively low in cost and requires minimal amount of raw materials as well as byproducts. -The by product used is silkworm faeces which are available from sericulture industry.Also,citric acid is added that will posses tensile strength to the product. -The binder to be used is PVAc(Polyvinyl acetate) which is by far known to have almost null negative impact on human health.PVAc is water processable, its use allows to replace the organic solvent thus reducing overall demand of chemicals in the production unit compared to those used in production of plastics. -The product will be sturdy and durable,with natural color and no harmful or unpleasant odour. -Our market strategy involves smart move of directly taking orders from the buyers,which include retailers and medical genius’.(B to C) -The product readily available will be in standard Indian sizes,which can be marketed to the retailers , hospitals and to the orthopedists as well. -The major advantage is the products can also be made customized depending on the demand of consumers.
