Samnan Chemicals is India's first deep-tech advanced materials startup engaged in the domestic synthesis and application-specific formulation of Multi-Walled Carbon Nanotubes (MWCNTs). The company is establishing a commercial-scale MWCNT manufacturing plant under a technology license from Chasm Advanced Materials Inc. (USA), using a rotary kiln Catalytic Chemical Vapour Deposition (CCVD) process at a nameplate capacity of 1,600 MT/year. The plant will be the first of its kind in India, eliminating 100% import dependency on MWCNTs currently sourced from OCSiAl (Luxembourg), LG Chem (South Korea), and Cnano (China). Samnan's technology platform is not a product distribution or trading operation — it is an integrated manufacturing-and-formulation venture combining upstream MWCNT synthesis with downstream wet-chemistry dispersion engineering to deliver application-ready CNT products to Indian battery, construction, and technical textile manufacturers. This vertical integration from carbon feedstock to customer-ready dispersion is unique in the Indian market and constitutes the core of the company's deep-tech differentiation
