 Name of the service - Sangawari  What is it - Sangawari is a platform to develop and provide aggrotech solution to the farmers with a primary focus on the upliftment of marginal farmers with the help of young skill forces.  What does it do? - The key ideas are as follows: • Engaging Farmers: Testing and validating products with them in their farms before delivering or manufacturing any product • Mentoring: Teaching technologies and helping students learn industry-level skills • Reach by Volunteers: We follow the approach of achieving our goal through youth engagement. By far, we have 80+ volunteers across the country out of which 3-4 of them are from IGKV, Raipur only. • Multilingual Support: All the products apps come with multiple regional languages for the convenience of farmers.  What Problem does it solve? - Paint Points we are addressing: • The arising need for technical equipment for farming • Lack of affordable equipment for marginal farmers • Non-adaptive technology • Wastage of crops • Complex user interface • Language barrier • Disinterest in youth towards the farming • Farmers ending up in loss or very less profit. Sangawari follows the approach of delivering solutions through the engagement of youth of the country through: • Training students in skills such as IoT, AI, ML and content writing through free seminars and workshops. • Have the young and skilled minds join The Sangawari Green Army. • With the help of the Sangawari Green Army, we develop, deliver, provide awareness to the farmers and make the aggrotech available to them. So basically we have two main stakeholders: Students and Farmers (Marginal and non-marginal both) Our USP: Youth engagement ensure the quality service and maintenance for Sangawari farmer as this young volunteers base are the people who represent a particular locality which gives more sense of authority and trust to farmers towards our products and services. Also, this local youth will be able to explain the benefits and usage of technology in a better way by using local references and language. Beside commercial reason it will also ensure the skill development of youth, new job opportunities and betterment in current environmental conditions as India use 80% of its freshwater in agriculture. The excessive use of chemicals contaminates the water and other resources used in agricultural practices. These malpractices consequently become major causes of destruction of the ecosystem but with the help of technology developed and delivered by Sangawari, we can have a good hold to improve the current situation.
