Agro-based cluster maps are "...a last-mile, online, map-driven, interactive directories of stakeholders and commodities", within the agriculture and food processing sectors. Industries are mapped in these sub-parent clusters based on the sequence of their roles within the food supply chain. Further, commodities are classified as Oilseeds, grains, pulses [OGP], fruits, vegetables, spices and condiments, dairy, poultry, meats and cash crops and mapped thematically. Agro-based cluster maps reorganize fragmented information on commodities, producers, vendors and stakeholders, connect millions of producers and consumers from base-of-pyramid [BoP] segment in India, thereby giving stakeholders, equal opportunity to connect with new vendors and consumers on a single page.
