There is no educationa/research institution focused on the exalted Rishi tradition of Bharat. Bharata Arsheya Sansthan (BHASA )(http://drashta.co.in) shall ultimately set up a research center which will not only revisit the tradition and its teachings, it will also correct false narratives that are attributed to our great Rishi-s due to whom we are proud of our heritage. The heritage itself is the greatest gift Rishi-s gave us. To start we have run the Dhrupad music school named Academy for Dhrupad Music & Research (ADMUR) for over 15 years and later registered BHASA. Under ADMUR we did 15 Dhrupad vocal sittings along with Pakhavaj recitals. Purpose is to provide Dhrupad singers and musicians a platform for performance and research.Next we added a Jyotish vertical under which for the last three years we have done successful consultations with excellent feedback. This is our long term revenue source.FUNDINGFunding shall be required for starting the third vertical that is teaching Sanskrit on-line. This will be inspired by a Sama Veda Gurukula. For this purpose we are tying up with Veda Vijanan Vishtharam, Mysore which is basically an advanced Veda Pathashala under Dr. Vamshi Krishna Ghanapathi who is also our Chief Advisor Veda.
