Agriculture is the backbone of the Indian economy" 70% of the Indian population lives in rural areas. Agriculture is the main industry in rural areas. If we want to eradicate unemployment in our country and see economic growth, we must give priority to agriculture and agro-based industries. Based on this, the project report was prepared by Mahasakthi welfare society and submitted to NABARD by NABARD on 13.2.2020. NABARD Chennai Farmers Producer Company Order No. NB.TN.RO.FSDD / 2501 / CHN / PODF-ID-FPO-39 / 2019-2020. The agreement was signed on 22.2.2020 at the NABARD office in Chennai as per the order to conduct FPO through MWS. MWS NGO Secretary Mrs.Dr.P. Kala Treasurer Mrs.G, Vanitha signed the agreement. Theni district is in the southern part of Tamil Nadu Surrounded by Western Ghats It is a scenic district. The main industry here is agriculture. Farmers who depend solely on agriculture have to suffer during the monsoon season and in times of calamity. There fore, the agrarian production company is a platform for small, marginal and agricultural laborers to make the agro-based livestock industry better, to get a fair price for the produce they produce, to get quality seeds and fertilizers and to sell the produce profitably without intermediaries at a reasonable price. Ten women directors have been selected to manage the FPCL and registered in the Companies Registration Act in June 2021 (Reg No - U01100TN20200PTC13976) 2020-2021. In the financial year 2021-2022 Saruthupatti Shakti FPCL has incorporated 1018 shareholders and collected Rs. 1018000 shares. Paid up capital collected. Forty one Directors' Meetings, Nine Project Implementation Monitoring Committee meetings and Three Annual General Body Committee meetings have been held. As on date 10.04.2023. Date on 28.10.2021 Registration MSME, UTHAYAM – Reg No. TN- 23- 0007285 registred , Date on 13.10.22 FSSAI Registration Reg.No. 22422230000424 registred. For the development of Saruthupatti Sakthi FPCL, we have joined Chennai transity as a member. We have joined EDII – PHBIF – edii Periyakulam incubation Forum as amembr.
