Savoury International is a food and wellness innovation startup focused on developing high-nutrition, clean-label fruit and vegetable powders using advanced (lyophilization) technology. The startup addresses the growing demand for convenient, preservative-free, and nutrient-dense food solutions while reducing agricultural waste and supporting Indian farmers. The core innovation lies in the use of lyophilization technology, which preserves up to 99% of natural nutrients by removing moisture at low temperatures without applying high heat. This process ensures superior retention of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, taste, color, and texture compared to conventional heat-based drying methods. The products have an extended shelf life of 2 to 5 years without the use of preservatives, additives, or artificial ingredients. India is witnessing a rapid rise in lifestyle diseases such as diabetes, low haemoglobin, anaemia, and malnutrition, driven by poor nutrition and highly processed diets.
