Brick & Mortar stores are losing business to e-commerce. This is because they face the following issues: 1. Location is king: If the store is located disadvantageously (1st floor or away from the business hub), they will lose sales 2. Discoverability of products is impossible: Potential customers walk past a store without knowing they have what they are looking to buy (potentially at the best price too) I know this because my family owns a retail store too. So often people have no idea we are selling X and they order it online - for a higher price. This results in customers overpaying and buying products online. Leading to financial loss for the customers and stores. Moreover, this also adds up to the massive waste problem created by e-commerce. Scout solves this for both parties - the customer and the store by leveraging technology to improve the discoverability and marketability of any store that signs up.
