SD Biomass Private Limited is a renewable energy and sustainability-focused startup incorporated on 24 May 2025 under the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013. As of now, the company is less than one year old and is in its early stage of developing innovative solutions in the areas of biomass-based renewable energy and nutraceutical products. The company is primarily engaged in developing technologies and business solutions for converting agricultural residues, forestry waste, organic waste and other biomass resources into value-added renewable energy products such as biomass pellets, briquettes, bio-coal, biochar, torrefied pellets and biogas. These products serve as sustainable alternatives to fossil fuels and are intended for use by industries, commercial establishments and energy producers seeking cleaner and cost-effective fuel options. SD Biomass Private Limited aims to address two major challenges in India: agricultural waste management and clean energy generation. By utilizing crop residues and organic biomass that are often burned or discarded, the company seeks to contribute to reducing air pollution while simultaneously producing environmentally friendly fuel products. The company also intends to undertake research and development in biomass processing technologies, waste-to-energy solutions and carbon-neutral fuel systems in order to improve efficiency, optimize biomass utilization and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. In the long term, the company plans to establish manufacturing and processing facilities for the production of biomass fuels and other renewable energy products. In addition to renewable energy initiatives, the company proposes to develop nutraceuticals and functional food products derived from plant-based materials, natural extracts and bio-processed agricultural resources.
