Securebook Technologies Private Limited builds SecureBook, a multi-tenant SaaS platform that digitises and automates the informal credit ("khata") and receivables cycle for India's small businesses, delivered through its UrKredit merchant and customer mobile applications. Rather than a single generic billing tool, the platform is engineered as vertical-specific workflow software — purpose-built modules for dental clinics, independent doctors, general/kirana merchants and fuel stations — each handling patient or customer histories, treatment and transaction logging, multi-party settlements, automated dues reminders and financial reporting on a shared credit, billing and reporting backbone. The core innovation is an AI/ML credit-risk scoring layer the company is developing, which converts the cash-flow and repayment data captured across merchants into a cross-merchant credit profile for each end customer — producing data network effects that standalone accounting apps cannot replicate. This data foundation positions the platform to extend into embedded lending (working-capital/BNPL via NBFC partners), GST compliance and inventory management as it matures. The model is highly scalable: a configurable multi-tenant architecture allows new verticals and geographies to be onboarded with minimal incremental cost, addressing millions of underserved SMEs across Kerala, India and the GCC.
