Sero Power Systems Pvt. Ltd. is an IIT Ropar–incubated deep-tech startup working toward a simple but powerful goal — to make clean energy practical for sectors where it has been hardest to implement. We are starting with next-generation air mobility, where current battery solutions struggle due to weight and limited range. To solve this, we are building a modular hydrogen-based electric powertrain platform designed specifically for applications where efficiency and weight matter the most. At the heart of this platform is our “H2 Power Core” — a compact, lightweight unit that generates clean electricity from hydrogen. Unlike conventional solutions, it is designed as a plug-and-scale system that can be adapted not only for aviation, but also for marine, heavy-duty transport, and rail over time. We have already demonstrated a working proof of concept using fully indigenised technology, validating the core idea. We are now in a focused optimization phase, improving performance, efficiency, and durability to move toward a full-scale deployable prototype. Our approach is built around scalability from day one — ensuring that what we build today can expand across multiple industries tomorrow.
