Crumbs THEORY (operated under Seven Isles LLP) is a tech-enabled, direct-to-consumer (D2C) food startup rooted in clean, honest ingredients, zero wastage and fresh, made to order bakery products. Operating out of our commercial production facility in Mumbai, we are bridging the critical market gap between commercial mass-produced baked goods—which rely heavily on artificial preservatives and additives for mass scalability & extended shelf-life—and localized artisan bakeries who either lack urban distribution scalability or rely on an expensive front facing real estate model Our core basket includes specialty breads with a very clean & short ingredient list and signature bakery items like cakes, cookies, crackers formulated with real, good quality ingredients like real chocolate in place of compound, real butter in place of margarine, no hydrogenated fats, no palm oil, eliminating artificial stabilizers, processing aids or the unhealthy ingredients commonly used in commercial bakeries today. We do this while providing freshly baked made to order products, thus aiming for Zero Food Wastage that commercial bakeries incur in made to forecast systems. We thus aim to solve the very real public problem in bakery items of ingredient integrity while providing freshly baked goods at scale in an urban setup. We aim to solve this problem and make the model scalable using technology to integrate order aggregation through ecommerce platforms with real time daily production planning and scheduling and delivery routing optimization so that freshly baked made to order goods may be delivered to the customers within a day of order.
