In their own words

According to WHO report, around 3 billion people still cook using solid fuels (such as wood, crop wastes, charcoal, coal and dung) and kerosene in open fires and inefficient stoves. Most of these people are poor, and live in low- and middle-income countries. These cooking practices are inefficient, and use fuels and technologies that produce high levels of household air pollution with a range of health-damaging pollutants, including small soot particles that penetrate deep into the lungs. In poorly ventilated dwellings, indoor smoke can be 100 times higher than acceptable levels for fine particles. Exposure is particularly high among women and young children, who spend the most time near the domestic hearth. 3.8 million people a year die prematurely from illness attributable to the household air pollution caused by the inefficient use of solid fuels and kerosene for cooking. Among these 3.8 million deaths: 27% are due to pneumonia, 18% from stroke, 27% from ischaemic heart disease, 20% from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), 8% from lung cancer. More efficient stoves and cleaner fuels that meet WHO indoor air quality guidelines have the potential to avert millions of deaths each year caused by household air pollution, while also reducing emissions that impact climate change. Among the available technologies, cleaner fuels such as biogas, ethanol, LPG, and natural gas along with electricity are the best alternatives to solid fuels for reaching WHO air quality guideline levels for household air pollution. To meet the WHO air quality guideline levels for household air pollution, we have developed World's 1st Hybrid solar gas cook-stove which can works on Bio-gas/LPG/Natural Gas along with solar electricity. Hybrid cook-stove utilizing solar electricity as a primary energy source and gas as a secondary energy source. It has an inbuilt heating coil and temperature sensors with a digital temperature LED display. We have also used gas leakage sensor and solenoid gas cutoff valve to improve the safety level of cook-stove. To control these hybrid energy systems and sensors, we have also used one embedded control card. Till now nobody has invented hybrid burner which works on both solar panel electricity and gas. It has the following advantages compared to other solutions: (1) LPG gas-saving up to 30% (2) Cooking time reduction up to 20%. (3) Consumer utilization of solar rooftop panel electricity will increase. (4) Suitable for remote locations household customers. (5) Very chip compare to other available solutions. (6) This system works on all type of vessels, so no need to purchase expensive ferromagnetic vessels. (7) All parts are made in India and simple design makes it reliable and easy to repair.
