Atelier Shikaarbagh is a heritage-led luxury couture house that brings together India’s finest craftsmanship with the elegance of French textiles. Founded by Maayankraj Singh, the atelier draws its lineage from Rani Urmila Rajey of Dholpur and Rajmata Gayatri Devi of Jaipur, whose legacy shaped its aesthetic and craftsmanship. Our core team consists of master embroiderers from Dholpur who have worked with the family for generations. Their expertise forms the foundation of our sarees, bridal poshaks, wedding couture, gowns, and formal eveningwear. Each garment reflects a blend of Indian techniques—such as aari, zardozi, nakshi, motijod, and marodi—with French methods including French knots, Chantilly lace work, silk floss, and pearl embroidery. The atelier’s signature palette draws inspiration from regal Indian Toshakhanas and classic European hues, with moonlit pink as its hallmark. All dyeing is done in-house by 10th-generation craftsmen, continuing a 300-year relationship with the founder’s family. Atelier Shikaarbagh offers couture that balances dramatic elegance with refined sophistication and is trusted by an esteemed clientele including leading Indian personalities and international royal families.
