Sri Dwar was born from a simple truth: distance should never come between a devotee and their temple. Across India and the wider Indian diaspora, families have spread further from the temples their grandparents once prayed at than at any point before. Migration for work, life abroad, age, and illness have quietly separated millions from rituals they grew up with — a puja performed in their own name, a diya lit for a parent, a festival darshan watched together as a family. Sri Dwar carries that prayer for them. A devotee books a puja, and a priest performs it inside the temple sanctum, calling out their name and Gotra exactly as it would happen in person, with a digital certificate left behind as proof the prayer was said. Live darshan adjusts to the viewer's own time zone. Sevas can be sponsored from anywhere, and sanctified prasad travels to wherever home now is. Founded by Kunu Rana and her brother Harmohan, Sri Dwar today works across multiple temples and priests, technology built quietly in service of faith.
