Shree Ambica Automotive Private Limited is a registered vehicle scrapping facility under a recently announced voluntary vehicle scrappage policy in the Union Budget 2021.The objective of the policy is to phase out old and unfit vehicles and encourage fuel-efficient, environment-friendly vehicles, thereby reducing vehicular pollution and oil import bill. According to the policy, vehicles would undergo fitness tests in automated fitness centres after 20 years in the case of personal vehicles and after 15 years for commercial vehicles to examine their roadworthiness. As a registered vehicle scrapping facility, it sources old vehicles from various old vehicle customers, de-registers the vehicles through Vahan portal, depollutes and dismantle the old vehicles to extract valuable recyclable materials to contribute to circular economy, adhering to all the guidelines laid down by the government to scrap old vehicles.
