Our Story “I grew up on the farm watching conventional methods being used. Crops were being sprayed with chemicals daily to stop insects, fungal diseases, and weeds from destroying the crop. But for me, it was the fact that the soil was like cement. It was hard and lifeless, just a medium to hold up the plant. Outside of the growing paddocks the soil was completely different. It had a different smell, and structure and there were living insects and worms. Organic farming is important to me because it is the right way to farm - it encourages life from the soil through to the plate”.
