In their own words

Shuru Foods Private Limited, through its brand Pomoro, is building an Indian-origin FMCG brand that brings authentic Italian flavours to Indian kitchens. We focus on creating premium-quality pasta sauces made using traditional Italian recipes, San Marzano-style tomatoes, and locally sourced ingredients — without artificial preservatives or stabilisers. Our innovation lies in adapting global culinary standards to the Indian market through: Product innovation: Developing preservative-free sauces with extended shelf life using natural processing techniques. Supply chain innovation: Partnering with Indian manufacturers to localise production of authentic Italian-style sauces and semolina pasta. Digital-first approach: Using technology for direct-to-consumer (D2C) sales, feedback analytics, and demand forecasting. Pomoro aims to make global-quality Italian food accessible to Indian households, while creating jobs across manufacturing, marketing, and logistics. We are currently scaling our range of sauces and plan to expand into pasta and other Italian staples under the same brand.

What we do not know

We have no liveness signal for any company on this site: no filings feed, no revenue, no check that the website still resolves. A record existing here means a record exists, not that a business is trading.

Is this your company?

Everything here comes from public government records. If something is wrong, the authoritative place to correct it is the Startup India portal itself, and we will pick the correction up on the next monthly snapshot. To flag an error on our side, write to trust@indianstartupmap.com.
