The Indian diagnostic industry plays a critical role in the achievement of the vision of universal health coverage. Diseases like tuberculosis, hepatitis and anaemia are rampant in a rural areas or Tier -3 cities. Test for these diseases are a costlier as they involve complex techniques of detection of such as Molecular Biology, Polymerase Chain Reaction, ELISA, etc.The charges of these tests are high because of high capex involved. These charges need to be reduced so that more people are screened for these diseases which eventually mean early detection and prompt treatment. The advantage of a low cost model is that you get bulk sample load which increases the revenue yet the margins are relatively low. Our start up is testing to serve the society by doing the tests at the government rates which enable even the common man without the hurting his pocket .In turn this leads to increased no. of samples & hence higher revenues. The same low cost model is replicated for other test also such as TB, Hepatitis & Anaemia, etc. Our low cost model reduces cost by at least 40% by creating Collection centres & franchisees in the rural and semi urban areas. Our centralized lab at Lucknow Caters to all these collection centres under Hub and spoke model.
