She has set up the business under the name and style of SJBS Lifestyle (OPC) Private Limited to cater to the need of urban women for their comfort in dressing in various seasons. Working women need more comfort mentally and physically to effectively attend to her day to day work in addition to the burden of handling her family and children. Keeping an eye on the comfort of this class of people, the enterpreneur decided to set up a garment manufacturing unit in the busy hub of the city of Mumbai. Innovation: Based on the comfort one can achieve in different seasons such as summer, winter and autumn, the enterpreneur wishes to design dress for the comfort or urban women and to give them a great feel of comfort coupled with latest trend in women wear. Clothing industry is a vast growing industry be it for regular wear, or school and office Uniforms or formal and informal wears at functions. Innovation is the master key for success and hence we have to constantly upkeep the innovations to meet the end users requirements looking to their budget string. We plan to cater to individual requirements based on their choice of material, choice of design and their choice of colours. Constant study of latest trend in clothing suiting to the comforts of end users and to implement it is our prime motto. Development: The Enterpreneur wishes to develop varied products in women’s wear and to have establishment all over the country, first in tier 1 cities and then to extend to Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. The “Mantra” of the Enterpreneur is “Utmost Comfort to women at Work”. To see this comfort at all ages of women, the enterpreneur has plans to adopt the earlier forms of dresses which also gives weightage to the culture of the society. There are many pockets in rural India where the dress are made to meet the working requirements of women with ease to wear and ease to manage. Any research involved in this is being undertaken to spread such awareness to other parts of the Country and benefit the people at large. We have also identified that the public has developed awareness to antique styles thanks to the social media. With the help of that platform, we wish to develop various products for the benefit of working women. Scalability in terms of employment: The enterpreneur is presently setting up a unit in a cozy outfit in south Mumbai with 6 – 8 workers to start with. Upon its successful implementation, it has plans to replicate the same in all major cities as also to expand its production base in Mumbai to finally cater to employment in the range of 100 – 200 workers directly and to create job opportunities in the procurement segment for fabric, accessories and other ancilliary units connected with garment / knitting industry. That would generate another 100 self employment opportunities as the focus is on handloom fabric to be promoted at the comforts of the end users.
