Most of the preschools in India are stand-alone preschools while some are part of different preschool chains. The preschools sector is dominated by women and this aligns with the tender, nurturing and caring approach required in this domain. Most of the stand-alone preschools are established by education enthusiasts with very little exposure to academic, entrepreneurial, and technical know-how required for running a preschool successfully, which is why many of these stand-alone preschools cannot create their own brand and grow beyond a single unit. The preschools which are a part of the preschool chains have paid hefty License fees & Royalties to franchisors for the academic and technical know-how, list of materials, furniture, toys & tools, Recruitment & Training, Curriculum, Quality and Service which most of the time they are deprived off and later they do everything by themselves and feel cheated. They do everything for a brand which is not their own and can be taken back by the franchisor any time in the future. A good mentoring and support system that helps in smooth operations and upgrading of preschools can be a blessing to such preschools. Keeping this in mind, we have created Ukenzaa – a 24 X 7 solution to all preschool needs. Ukenza is a support system for pre-schools formed by passionate preschool experts with many years of experience. After successfully running their own pre-schools and with many years of experience in the field of education, we are now striving to contribute to the growth of preschool community in India. Ukenza will provide preschools with a treasure of resources, and systems & processes that ensure the development and growth of their preschool.
