Skylaglobal Umashanker foundation is a not-for-profit organization that started providing formal education to the underprivileged. Our ultimate goal is the empowerment of underprivileged and marginalized communities towards an improved livelihood. We aspire to do this through a well-planned and comprehensive educational project. Knowledge is the path that leads to a better quality of life, i.e., it enhances the opportunities in tackling issues for an improved lifestyle. These issues may involve the healthcare of an individual or his attitude towards righteousness, that evolves him as a responsible citizen. We realize that underprivileged houses in which the sole earner is a mother, cannot afford to provide education to her children. In such cases, we provide assurance to the mothers that we would offer them health and lifestyle-related benefits if they send their children to study under our organization. Also, we comprehend the dynamic role played by practical knowledge in the amicable transformation of an individual. So, in houses where the earner is a father, we aim to equip them with the relevant skills required for a certain job. Once he learns the skills, he would yield a job, which would eventually lead to an improved lifestyle in the future. Considering all these things, we at Skylaglobal Umashankar foundation, have started to work upon education and address the varied needs of the society along with the development of families.
