Smart Technosol Pvt. Ltd. proposes a Smart Solar LED Dehydration System that integrates energy-efficient solar dehydration hardware along with Black body Blue LED Radiation Technology developed for quality dehydration associated with digital monitoring, cloud connectivity, and data analytics. The idea is to convert traditional dehydration—currently manual, weather-dependent, and inconsistent—into a duly controlled, data-driven activity 24X7 dehydration facility which will provide near fresh experience to the consumer when rehydrated again. By combining optimized Solar-LED thermal design with sensors, edge electronics, and software analytics, the system enables standardized drying, improved quality, and traceability. This makes the solution sustainable, affordable, and scalable for Indian agricultural, horticulture, aquaculture and forest produce sectors. At present India faces 20–30% post-harvest losses in fruits, vegetables, fish, and medicinal crops due to lack of affordable preservation technologies at the farm and cluster level. Small farmers, SHGs, and rural enterprises rely on open sun drying, which is uncontrolled, unsafe, and quality-inconsistent, while electric dryers are costly and energy-intensive. Additionally, there is a major gap in digital monitoring, quality assurance, and standardization in rural food processing. Given India’s vast agricultural base and decentralized production system, this need is large, nationwide, and recurring, spanning agriculture, fisheries, and allied sectors. Hence, our solution of 24X7 dehydration method will help farmers, fishermen, forest producer and horticulturist to a great extent to reduce their losses and increase their profits.
