Smartgrid Innovations Private Limited
Delhi, Delhi
In their own words
Under the National Smart Grid Mission Scheme (2015), India requires ~ 250+ million Smart Energy Meters to be deployed in the next 7-10 years. These smart meters will usher in an era of energy efficiency, theft prevention, better supply and demand matching, higher billing and revenue collection efficiency and are likely to reduce the distribution losses significantly across all Indian electricity distribution companies. Creation of a Smart grid needs these smart meters and is critical for India to meet its sustainability and energy efficiency goals. Currently India does not have the capacity to manufacture this volume of meters. We are setting up Smartgrid Innovations with a vision to manufacture high quality, low cost Smart Energy Meters at scale. We have developed indigenous product designs with our own R&D and are in the process of establishing our manufacturing unit. We are a 100% Make in India shop and out goal is to ensure that India becomes Atmanirbhar in meeting its smart metering goals.
