Mystery Creates Wonder and Wonder is the Basis of Man’s Desire to Understand. (Neil Armstrong) It is very essential to awaken curiosities of students while learning science. This is possible with practical and demonstrations. Students are expected to recall what they have observed. If students are involved thinking as well as seeing and doing; they can get insight into scientific methods and develop expertise with ease. Such practical trainings can enable students for proactive thinking in a systematic manner. Most importantly scientific attitude will be developed which has a power of understanding the subject at a deeper level. In the context of teaching scientific knowledge, practical work is best seen as Communication. Through this Art of Science Mysteries project, we look forward to involve Students majorly from Rural Schools as they cannot progress due to inadequate training accessories and resources. Also, if they do not develop the liking for the subject, getting into higher grades becomes a challenge for them. We have decided to focus on students from 5 to 8 grades. We have developed Innovative Brand-New Do It Yourself (DIY) Science Kits for students to do practical experiments; which are complementary to their academic curriculum. We have prepared Product development kits too; to make Science Fun and Learn experience. These kits are having a Novel design, which offers a laboratory platform, when KIT is opened. This will give students hands on experience, better learning ability. This will also enhance scientific thinking, skill-based learning.We can witness immediate shift in the mindset and grasping ability of students www.smilewellnessfoundation.org
