Every day huge quantity of paper is being used for printing sale slip/ sale ticket/ receipt/token/tabs/invoices etc. around the globe. Hence to print such proof of sale or tokens a lot of paper has to be consumed by sellers thus groves of trees have to be sacrificed to solve the purpose. But interestingly people hardly take a glance at these printed receipts or tokens that they accept from various counters/sellers, most are thrown away immediately. Most of the consumers experience frustration in looking for a receipt for big ticket items, which has warranty associated and even if they find the receipt it is mostly damaged or has faded unintelligibly. Softcopi has a vision to change this by developing India’s first fully integrated digital receipt technology App that provides secure and live cloud based storage of receipts and can function with or without integrating POS systems. It is ‘Cost Savings’, ‘CRM’, and ‘GREEN’ rolled into one and it’s free to the user. A consumer shops at a Softcopi enabled retailer and automatically receives their receipt on their app and online to use later for warranties, returns, tax and accounting. The app provide insights add transparency and visibility to the spending patterns which helps the users to understand and manage the future finances intuitively. Businesses/Retailers loves the solution as they can begin a story with their end user and can communicate custom promotions, product recommendations, videos, surveys, referral and loyalty programs based on historic purchase even without requiring the consumers to hand over personal info like email address or phone number to the retailers. This will be facilitated using Data Analytics and Machine Learning engine.
