We, at Solspero Solutions, truly believes that we are critically in need of good farmers than good engineers. Solspero solutions is on a journey to help achieve this mission. We are developing a solution, which we believe - and I hope you would agree as well - that will enable more people to take up farming and ultimately will help achieve our mission. Today's farmers face two major problems - finding people for the produce at the time of harvest and reduce/avoid the multiple levels of middlemen that are present in today's system until the produce reaches the end customer. Agricultural products are perishable in nature, that means you need climate controlled storage facilities to extend the life of the produce even for a few days. This forces the farmers to sell the product at the earliest available opportunity for the price that they can find, even when its too low. Middlemen take advantage of this precarious situation. To address these challenges, Solspero Solutions is developing a marketplace for farmers where they decide what the price of their product should be. It helps the farmers to directly connect to the end customer, sometimes it could be even your neighbor which otherwise you may never come to know. The solution finds people who are in need of your produce thereby increasing the demand and cutting down the need to have storage facilities, and avoid middlemen. The marketplace not only caters to agricultural products but also to home made food items like chips, pickles and other processed foods etc. there by offering a life line to lakhs of women who are already engaged in such activities and are struggling to find customers. We make money by charging farmers and home entrepreneurs a small administrative fee for enabling the transactions. We are unique in this field currently since there is no other established player at the moment, so it is really important that we hit the marker at the earliest and we are looking for all the help we can get.
