We are focused on developing a Blockchain-based peer-to-peer centralized patient record system for hospitals and have named this venture SOUL. In short, we are building a database for use by hospitals and clinics, to store and record patient data, using blockchain technology that enables the secure, fast, centralized and transparent exchange of data across all hospitals in India and possibly the world. This will let us use medical data to create an impact in the medical field by reducing errors and increasing the potential of treatments. The idea could be extended to insurance companies and the pharmaceutical industry, who are some of the other major stakeholders involved. Insurance companies could authenticate their transactions through the network. This startup will standardise the management of data in hospitals.
