STEAM Labs, where STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Maths, has a singular goal to be a leader of the ongoing maker movement in India. We take a community focused approach to foster team based learning and to inculcate a culture of curiosity by inspiring people to make things that matter to them by providing access to tools like 3D printers, Electronic prototyping tools, Woodworking tools, Paint machines, Metal working tools and basic hand tools etc. Steam Labs aspires to build an entire generation which is not afraid to incorporate DIY (Do-It-Yourself) way of working and creating things. Our focus is on promoting a hands on approach towards electronics and hardware with an emphasis on learning through practical experimentation.STEAM Labs inspire kids and people of all ages to build hardware products which may be purely electronics, purely mechanical or a combination of both that may be able to solve problems the society faces at large.This approach towards education and building & creating things will see new innovative products being produced from our centres which could have an IP (Intellectual Property) Value, with patents and design patents being filed for novel innovative products, developed during the process. We would also provide support to these individual with IP in their hand to start new companies around their innovative products.
