Innovation: The process of translating an idea or invention into a good or service that creates value or for which customer will pay to called an innovation , an idea must be replicable at an economical cost an must satisfy a specific need. Innovation involves deliberate application of information, imagination and initiative in deriving greater or different values from resources and includes all process by which new idea are generated and converted into useful products. In business innovation often results when ideas are applied by the company in order to further satisfied the needs and expectations of the customers. In a social context, innovation helps creates new methods for alliance creation joint venturing, flexible work hours, and creation of buyers, purchasing power. Innovation are divided into two categories: (1) Evolutionary innovation (continuous or dynamic evolutionary) , that are brought about by many incremental advances in technology or process. (2) Revolutionary innovation (also called discontinuous innovation ) which are often discaptive and new innovation is synonymous with risk taking and organisations that create revolutionary products or technologies take on the greatest risk. because they create new markets. Improvement: The process of getting better is called and improvement. (1) There is no improvement in the cash flow situation. (2) sells are showing a sharp improvement over last year. (3) Employees have noticed an improvement in the working environment . Something which is better. example:- (1) You should always be looking to make any improvement you can to your product so that it will sell quicker. (2) While be expected to see improvement in our sells numbers this past year. We never expected them to triple with in single quarter. (3) With a bit of improvement this company could be a place in which any one would be proved to works as every one would know exactly what was expected of them and be compensated accordingly. Scalability:- (1) Facility, Plant, or unit whose size, performance, or number of users can be increased on demand without penality in cost or funtionality. (2) System designed to handle proportionally very small to very large uses and service levels all most instantly, and with no significant drop in cost effectiveness, funtionality performance, on reliability, scalable systems employee technologies such as also automatic load balancing, clustering and parallel processing.
