Superconductors are materials that conduct electricity with no resistance. Superconductor can carry a current indefinitely without losing any energy, currents with no resistance and extremely low energy losses are a huge benefit over competing technologies. The relatively recent developments in this field are impressive and will play a part in more efficient energy systems. superconductors will be a ubiquitous element of alternative energy transmission. they are best used for the efficient transportation of electricity. Grids made of superconductors and not aluminum results to huge savings and no need for electricity transformation to high voltage. it provides quick charge to the battery. There are two types of superconductors, type – I and type – II. Type -I does not allow magnetic field lines (flux) through it while the next one does at high magnetic field. The levitation uses type – II superconductors since it requires flux to be passed in order to lock the object and move.
