SITPL's role comes in for bringing one stop cost effective software solution for Smart Metering that is too “Make in India.” Since several decades, Indian electrical utilities are facing some critical challenges such as higher AT & C losses and poor productivity due to which almost all DISCOMs are in huge commercial loss and could not able to progress for the network optimization/ improvement which in turns in power cries and it impacts on the growth of the Nation. In view of this, several governments have taken lot of measures to overcome these issues such as APDRP, R-APDRP-A, R-ADPRP-B, Smart Grid Initiatives and IPDS Programs, to overcome the technical and commercial issues of electrical. Higher technical losses are due to poor network design due to lack of spatial and non-spatial data of electrical equipment & network. under series of R-APDRP programs,government has tried to implement the GIS, SCADA and Smart Grid Systems in almost all utilities but most of the utilities / DISCOMS are facing issues like its data update because of the systems are not user-friendly. In turn, it looks like huge loss of money spent on those R-APDRP Schemes. Research:- Software which were used in these programs are worldwide software’s are fulfilling the requirement of utilities but because of their non-user friendliness DISCOMS engineers are not able to operate it efficiently. In order to make those systems operational we need to update the huge delta data and modify the system for its user friendliness. Considering several challenges in Indian Utilities, current government is making drastic amendment in electricity act which provides for separation of carriage and content business. The separation will pave the way for introducing a new system where consumers will have option to choose from multiple electricity service providers in their areas, similar to that of telecom services. In view of this Sumy Inventive Technologies has decided to design and developed the Smart Grid System and its accessories which not only provide the real time scalable product but also user-friendly. Not a single smart gird software is real or near real time, utility / Discoms has purchase this software separately to cater their needs and everyday they have to study each software to come-up on conclusion. In view of this SITPL, brings one package software which can be integrated with the existing systems to give one and only one Near Real Time Analytics tools which enables to take fast & accurate decisions to improve their work effectiveness and reduce the AT&C Losses and to fulfill the reliable Power Demand of Nation and where SITPL has interested to provide her best services through this innovative idea to overcome existing challenges of Utilities / Discoms. We have done lot of research and analyzed the products available in the market and their quality. With SITPL ‘s research, this products which is best in quality and economically costing 50% less than existing products. Benefit of Product – Process for General Public:- a) Consumer Portal:- Consumer Portal is for general Public consumers to access their consumption related information. This will help them to better organize their usages and make it cost effective this will ultimately help to conserve the natural resources. Consumer Portal is the integrated application of Utilities MDMs, Billing and Demand Response System. The portal / app has following features: • Display single/multiple account information of the users displaying information like account name, address, balance, due, status, etc. • Any status message pertaining to the account/s viz. alerts/actions. • Information about different customer engagement programs viz DSM etc. • Consumption and billing history of the user in graphical formats for at least 12 months as per selection. With detailed analysis in a tabular format listing the meter reading date, the reading, consumption, number of days, charges, etc.
