Around 253 million people worldwide and 57 million in India are visually impaired. The Indian number includes 12 million blind. They have limited access to education and are economically backward. They are surrounded by the societal stigma resulting in unemployment and financial independence. The blind leave in isolation due to their inability to adjust and understand the changing environment. These people are dependent on other family members for day-to-day activities leading to depression and higher anxiety. In particular, the women of the house becomes the caretaker, thus limiting their freedom and potential. Every life is important and they should have the freedom to live the way they want. Dependency is not an option in the 21st century for self-survival. Product:Smart wearable glasses that connect with your Android or IOS phone over Bluetooth. Mobile Application that enables data extraction from the image and passes on the audio to the speaker of the glasses. Value Proposition:The product is easy to use as you are just required to press a button when you want information. The information will enhance the understanding of the surrounding. Reduces dependency on others for day-to-day activities.
