Realtime “Public Information System” in sectors like transportation, retail, hospitality etc. is still under-developed in India. Lack of effective real-time ETA info display in transportation system, specifically into intra city bus networks creates long wait at origin bus stops. With it, there are some steps taken to display these information’s but setup cost and time is the key factor. We propose to provide efficient product to these scenarios. We are disrupting public information eco-system, by developing devices and technology which are self-sustainable, eco-friendly and scalable. This includes two key elements i.e. “Devices” (hardware) which are effective form the Indian context and “Software” technology which enables integration with multiple platforms seamlessly in last mile integration. We are building devices using e-paper display technology. These are low energy devices with reflective displays, works on solar energy which makes them apt for the outdoor use. With it as these are reflective displays its performance in outdoor is superior as compared to backlit displays. Secondly, these devices are made to plug & play mode which reduces the conversion/installation time. Possibility to customize them allows to build devices as per requirement to optimize cost and performance. Overall easy and go to market product with huge scope for build overall smart public information system.
