M/s. Sure Evergreen Energy Private Limited has planned to set up a Bio-CNG and Bio-Fertilizer Manufacturing unit with production capacity of 5,000 Kg/Day and 180,000 Kg/Day respectively. The proposed unit is to be established under the Sustainable Alternative Towards Affordable Transport (SATAT) scheme launched by GoI. The initiative was launched on 2nd Oct 2018 by Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas & Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, with PSU Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) like Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd., Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd., and GAIL Limited by inviting Expression of Interest (EoI), from potential entrepreneurs to set up Compressed Bio-Gas (CBG) production plants and make available CBG in the market for use in automotive fuels. The main objectives of SATAT scheme are to:  Utilise more than 62 million MT of waste generated every year in India.  Reducing vehicular emissions and pollution from burning of Agricultural residues /Organic wastes.  Reduction in import of Natural gas and Crude oil.  Buffer against Crude oil/ Gas price fluctuations. 2. Project Background: M/s. Sure Evergreen Energy Private Limited is a Company concern and the project is for the establishment of Bio–CNG and Bio-Fertilizer Manufacturing Unit with a per day production capacity of 5,000 Kg/Day and 30,000 Kg/Day Biofertilizer. The proposed project is to be established in Soni Village, Tal. Miraj, Dist. Sangli (MH). OMC (as applicable) has given a Letter of Intent # IndianOil/SATAT/01/3970 dated 01.01.2024 to the M/s. Sure Evergreen Energy Private Limited under SATAT scheme for the supply of CBG produced.
