We have developed an innovative process of making Phosphoric acid and Plaster of paris from Phosphogypsum. Phosphogypsum is a waste generated during the production of Phosphoric acid by industries . Every day millions of tons of Phosphogypsum are dumped into land or sea by the industries. This is a grave problem because Phosphogypsum is acidic in nature and has radioactive components in it. When it is dumped in land or sea, it damages the surrounding environment making it inhabitable for humans and other life forms. Our process has the ability to eliminate this waste by converting it into Phosphoric acid and Plaster of paris. Our process is a zero waste process and uses eco-friendly chemicals only.
