We aim to develop an external self sustaining digestive system (Exo-Digester) that mimics the natural digestive process to harness energy & clean water by digesting all kinds of biological/organic waste generated by human activities as organic waste from human activities, like cooking & defecating. The system is to be coupled with natural gas based power generation units and ceramic/carbon fibre/Graphene based filtration units for generation of contamination free potable water. The digestion process is based on anaerobic & aerobic fermentation process where-in different types of aerobic, anaerobic, and facultative bacteria will act upon different types of nitrogeneous, carbonaceous and sulphurous waste to give out stable products like water, carbon dioxide and other natural gasses which may be further utilized for generating clean energy & clean potable water depending upon scale of operation.
