At under 3%, online commerce in India has a very low penetration. Even within this significant disparity exists between categories - e.g. mobiles & electronics are about 17% and beauty is under 1%. We believe this is due to inherent problems with the way online commerce is done today - which is very well suited for price discovery but not product discovery or providing solutions to consumers. This problem is much larger is some categories compared to others and especially for consumers whose 'preferred language' is not English. Our platform aims to solve this problem through influencers guiding people what to buy, in a language they understand through easy to consume multimedia content. Through this platform we aim to solve the consumer problem of product discovery in a scalable way.
