Material TAPASHRI Engineering (composite rebar) belongs to the class of fibrous composite material. In fibrous composite materials, fibers are combined with other materials to obtain improved characteristics and synergistic properties. These properties are determined by the fibers used, their position, as well as the choice of additives and binders. One of the most famous composite materials is a reinforcing fiberglass rod (reinforcement), which is used in many areas of marine, industrial and civil construction. TAPASHRI reinforcement demonstrates its best qualities in construction areas, where high-strength, corrosion-resistant, durable, non-metallic reinforcement is required. Reinforcing bar consists of many continuous fibers located in the longitudinal direction. The rods are made by the method of pultrusion - the method of pulling. It guaranteed a linear alignment of the fibers in the direction of a rod axis, complete impregnation of the glass fibers with resin and high degree of the resin polymerization. Fibers give the material strength and longitudinal direction. Impregnation with epoxy compounds provides a fixed position of the fibers in the rod, load distribution and protection of the fibers from harmful effects. The unique TAPASHRI patented rib geometry allows for high adhesion to concrete.
