Roastea is a coffee-tea startup which is a manufacture of vending machines and also the service providers of coffee and tea beverages at different corporate doorsteps. Our machine’s uniqueness and innovation lies in its ability to offer fresh milk based authentic south Indian filter coffee and adrak / elaichi / masala tea - all from one beautifully designed machine. We intend to push the envelope in the vending industry by a "0 manpower/ per unit” policy. With a ready prototype of our vending machine with RFID we endeavor to include IOT in our product portfolio for achieving maximum scale and maintain a sustainable business model. With an intention of keeping our operational costs on the lower side we intend to rope in CRM and SAP tools to efficiently manage inventory, track movement of our manpower and efficiently predict sales. With an intuitive machine, along with innovating in the vending industry, we intend to extend our innovation to a smart kiosk/outlet which is an “on the go” business model, wherein the “customer experience” is enhanced. As on date, every outlet/kiosk/café is manned with multiple manpower to cater to customers. The taste, consistency and the turnaround time to serve the customers are the key parameters to determine the maximum repeat customers. Our vision is to eliminate the excess manpower by standardizing the brewing technology through an innovative and intuitive brewer/dispenser. Our unique brewing technique ensuring consistency and standardization will help us grow in steady and yet fast manner expanding our geographical footprint. To spearhead our vision we have a ready plan to develop a prototype for the outlets. This unique tech-enabled thought will help us gain wider acceptability and sustainability in the Indian market. With the Indian population being very particular about the manner in which "Chai" is brewed, as an extension of our innovative brewing technology, we intend to segregate our policy city/region-wise. Since "chai" is something which is very region/city specific, going forward (while expanding) we do not intend to follow a country wide supply chain sourced from Ahmedabad. The supply chain segregation will give each region its own unique product taste along with reducing the logistical costs. We do product development continuously and bring constant changes in the design and machine output to suit the customers’ size and needs. In that direction we are working on a “home machine” to allow a similar experience all in the comfort of your home. Like our motto we have always and will always endeavour to put our customers before us i.e. "SERVICE BEFORE SELF" From the day we started manufacturing the “Roastea” and till today, we have actively worked on making “Roastea” an everyday beverage product. In this time span, we have left our well-paying law firm corporate jobs, travelled to farms in Chikmagalur, Coorg and Assam, attended workshops, spoke to thousands of tea and coffee lovers in Ahmedabad and Mumbai, have done out-door-catering events at marriage functions and college get-togethers and have “successfully set-up 40 Roastea’s” at multiple locations.
